Here's a design I did
for an art glass project
that, sadly, isn´t going to be going ahead. The venture was going to
be called fuinneog an lae,
which means "morning light" in Irish Gaelic, but can also be read
literally as "day window" or "window of day".....

The illustration I did
of Hugo award winning story And The Dog Said Bow Wow by American SF author
Michael Swanwick can now be seen on the author´s website here...
I did this ink drawing
for Jeremy Donaldson's interesting and fast-expanding collection of science-
fiction fantasy art all of which is on 26x45 pieces of card. He has a website
here..

The website I made of
my sister Marie-Thérèse and Shane Quinn's wedding in June of
2003 is now online and can be viewed here..

The second sample page
shows the widow's son encountering a willow tree in the same wood. The handsome
woman on the left here is his mother.I hope to have more news about publication
soon....
It's a retelling of an
old Irish folk tale about a king, Larry Loingseach, who has a terrible secret
(his horse's ears!) The green-faced fellow above is the "widow's son"
sick with not being able to tell anyone the secret.
The building on the left
is the local druid's residence. The two sample pages below show the king's
harpist heading into the wood in search of material for a new harp.

The "Certificate" on
the left-hand side is part of a new project where I write a short story and
then illustrate it for someone based on their interests. The finished product
is then presented along with a humourous "certificate". I've made
a homepage for the project, which I'm calling "Donal Casey -
Original illustrated stories", and it can be seen here...
