
He works with watercolour, gouache, acrylic, coloured pencil and ink aswell as Photoshop 6.0, Freehand 8, Flash 5 and Macromedia Dreamweaver.
He has a diploma in illustration and computer graphics from the Escuela
Superior de Dibujo Profesional in Madrid. He also has a degree
in English and Sociology from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth
. Originally from Athlone
in the Irish Midlands he lived in Madrid
for many years and currently lives in Dublin.

Donal Casey is an illustrator and cartoonist. He did the illustrations for the Irish-language children's book Dhá Chluas Capaill ar Labhraí Loingseach which is published by Cló Mhaigh Eo. He is currently working on a second book with the same author.
He has also worked for clients such as King's College Spain and the Spanish science-fiction magazine Dos Mil Uno. He created the logo image for the Phoenix Convention (P-Con) the 2003 Irish SF convention.
